With the introduction of true CAN-based Flex Fuel tuning for the Gen1 B58, Dorch Engineering proudly offers its own Plug & Play ECA (Ethanol Content Analyzer) Kit!

Thanks to the new Flex Fuel functionality available in MHD and Bootmod3 (BM3) software, Bluetooth ethanol sensors have become obsolete. The CANbus-based ethanol sensor not only measures ethanol content but also communicates directly with the DME, enabling full Flex Fuel capability.

With the appropriate Flex Fuel software, the DME automatically adjusts the engine map—from maximum performance on E85 to regular pump gas and everything in between. All of this happens dynamically and in real time via CAN communication with the Dorch ethanol sensor.
Say goodbye to guessing fuel ratios or manually switching maps—just fuel up and drive!

NO CUTTING, NO SPLICING – TRUE PLUG & PLAY INSTALLATION

This kit is completely reversible and 100% Plug & Play. The harness integrates seamlessly with the OEM wiring, while all cables and components are neatly routed, allowing full fitment of factory engine covers and insulation panels.

By positioning the ethanol sensor as close to the injectors as possible, the system delivers virtually zero delay in reading the actual ethanol blend reaching the combustion chamber.

Installation takes about 30 minutes when combined with an HPFP install, or roughly 1 hour as a standalone job, depending on experience.
