These pipes are a week link on any tuned car or in some cases even on a stock tune. The OE plastic pipes often crack or split at the turbo connections leaving you with a boost leak.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith our performance intercooler pipes we like to offer a reliable solution and of course at the same time improve the air flow!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo get an exact 3D-model of the available space to design our intercooler pipes in we did a detailed 3D-scan of our M3 Competition engine bay. With the help of this 3D-scan model we could design new 2,25” (57mm) intercooler pipes with smooth bends.\u003cbr\u003eSqueezing in as large pipes as 2,25” (57mm) is a challenge since it is not that much space between the engine cover and valve cover. Many after-market intercooler pipes make it impossible to snap the engine cover rubber grommets correctly onto its lock pins. We have solved this issue by our design of this pipe and that we include longer OE-style locking pipes for the engine cover.\u003cbr\u003eWe decided to not include methanol injector connections on our intercooler pipes since in our opinion it is better to have this after the intercooler. Our intercooler-throttle body (J-pipe) has 2 methanol injector connections.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur final design is a full aluminum construction with mandrel bent pipes and CNC machined turbo flanges. We also include more durable silicone hoses that connects our pipes to the intercooler inlet flanges.
