To achieve these results, Dinan redesigned the entire lower airbox — not just the lid. The system uses a 60% larger airbox volume and a custom high-flow filter with 40% more filter surface area than OEM. A carefully developed secondary inlet increases airflow volume while maintaining stable inlet temperatures, avoiding the heat-soak issues common with many open intake systems.

The removal of the factory intake resonator also allows the turbo spool and bypass valve sounds to be heard more clearly, delivering a louder and more engaging driving experience.
