The FTP Charge Pipe for B58 simultaneously increases airflow and significantly improves the reliability of the B58 engine in BMW vehicles.

This aluminum pipe replaces the brittle factory plastic charge pipe, which is well known for failing under increased boost pressure. The reinforced construction effectively eliminates the risk of leaks or cracking, even on tuned vehicles running higher boost levels.

The increased diameter of the BMW B58 charge pipe reduces airflow turbulence and maximizes air delivery to the engine, resulting in sharper throttle response and more stable boost pressure across the entire rev range.

B58 Intake Pipe

The B58 intake pipe is a direct replacement for the factory plastic air intake pipe.
The FTP intake pipe replaces the OEM hose between the air filter and the turbocharger and—unlike the factory component—does not expand under boost pressure.

This system removes the OEM sound chamber (resonator), which results in:

• faster turbocharger response,

• a noticeable increase in mid-range power,

• improved top-end power at higher RPM.

Combining the BMW B58 charge pipe with the B58 intake pipe creates a complete intake system upgrade that enhances both performance and long-term engine durability.
